Platform · Nothing goes out without you. New

An ownership transfer changes nothing until the new owner accepts and adds a card.

Since 24 Sep 2026v2.22.0No tasksSolo and Team

You name the new owner and confirm. They get a link that works for 7 days. Nothing moves until they accept and add their own card, and you can cancel any time before that.

What it does

Transfer ownership hands your account to someone else. You type their email, choose what happens to you and confirm with your password. They receive an emailed link that works for 7 days.

Until they accept the link and add their own card, nothing on the account changes and you can cancel the transfer. Nothing is charged to them on the day. The card pays from the next renewal.

Why

Handing over a paid account moves a bill and a body of work. It should not happen on a click from one side only, or to someone whose card was never checked.

What it won't do

  • It doesn't move the account before the new owner accepts.
  • It doesn't hand an account to someone who already runs one or belongs to another team.

Signals / Radar

A new account runs no scheduled briefing until you switch it on.

A new account starts on Manual only, so no Signals or Radar briefing runs on its own until you pick a schedule in Settings. Email the briefing only decides whether mail goes out.
