Refund Policy
How refunds work at Adamiro. Single source of truth, linked from pricing, checkout, billing, and receipts.
Last updated: 8 May 2026
This page is the single source of truth for Adamiro refunds. It mirrors section 4.6 of our Terms of Service; if anything ever appears to disagree, the Terms of Service control. Mandatory consumer-protection law (Terms of Service section 2) applies in addition to the rules below.
Subscription refunds
Monthly plans
Refundable on a pro-rated basis for the unused portion of the current billing cycle, within the first 14 days of the most recent charge.
The refund equals (days_remaining_in_cycle / 30) × paid_amount and is computed automatically when you cancel from the in-app billing panel.
After day 14 the charge is non-refundable. You can still cancel; future renewals will stop and your access continues until the end of the paid cycle.
Annual plans
Full refund within the first 14 days of the most recent charge. We do not pro-rate annual plans within the window: if you cancel on day 1 or day 14, the refund is the same.
After day 14 the charge is non-refundable. You can still cancel; future renewals will stop and your access continues until the end of the paid year.
Mid-cycle upgrades
Upgrading mid-cycle creates a fresh charge for the price difference. That charge has its own 14-day refund window, computed from the date of that charge, independent of the original subscription’s start date.
Task refunds (technical failure)
Tasks are automatically credited back to your wallet when a Service action fails for a verified technical reason, including upstream provider failures we surface to you (e.g. n8n / OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini outages or timeouts).
The refund Task inherits the original grant’s expires_at, so the refunded Task expires as if it had never been used. If the original grant has already expired by the time the refund fires (rare, e.g. a stuck run), the refund is clamped to a 30-day validity from the refund date.
You do not need to ask. The system fires the refund automatically and writes a row to the Task ledger you can see at /dashboard/billing-history/.
Credit notes (kreditfaktura)
Every monetary refund is accompanied by a Stripe-issued credit note (Swedish: kreditfaktura) with a sequential number. The credit note is delivered to the email address on file and stored in your billing history. We retain credit notes for 7 years as required by Swedish bokföringslagen (Bookkeeping Act, 1999:1078).
Task-ledger refunds (the technical-failure case above) do not generate a credit note because no money changes hands; the Task is simply put back in your wallet.
How to request a refund
Most refunds are self-service:
- Open /dashboard/billing/ and click Cancel subscription. The system shows your refund eligibility and amount before you confirm.
- If you cancel within the 14-day window, the refund is processed automatically. The credit note arrives by email shortly after; the funds typically reach your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
For manual refund requests, edge cases, or anything not covered here, email billing@adamiro.com. Include your account email and the order or invoice number you want refunded.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first. Per Terms of Service section 4.5, chargebacks issued without first contacting our support may incur a recovery fee equal to the amount charged back, capped at the most recent invoice. The 14-day refund window is almost always faster than a chargeback dispute, and you keep the credit-note trail your accountant needs.
Free trials and promotional credits
Free trials are not refundable because no money was charged. If you do not convert a trial, your account transitions through a grace state before being locked; no data is deleted during this period unless you request it. See Terms of Service section 5.
Promotional credits and discount-code adjustments are not refundable as cash; they are returned to your wallet or discount balance per the terms stated when the credit was issued.
