Sharing starts off. Until you switch on Allow public sharing in Settings, no briefing item or whole-week summary can be sent to Voice. Radar itself publishes nothing. The weekly email still goes to your recipients.
What it does
A Radar briefing is your internal view of your market. Sharing it is a setting, and the setting starts off. It is on the Settings tab as Allow public sharing.
With it off, Radar offers no way to send a finding to Voice. With it on, you can send single items to your Voice Ideas list, and only from the sections that are safe to share. If your plan includes Reach, a whole-week button also builds a Voice draft from the briefing.
The weekly briefing email is separate. When it is on, it goes to the address you set and to any recipients you list.
Why
A briefing about competitors and your own position is strategy. Strategy that leaks into a public post is hard to take back.
So Radar asks first, and asks once, in a setting you control.
What it won't do
- It doesn't publish anywhere. Radar has no post or schedule button.
- It doesn't switch sharing on for you.
- It doesn't show the send icon on any item while the setting is off.
How to use it
Open the Radar guide in your dashboard, or start a trial to try it.
