If a post still holds a fact to verify, Reach refuses to approve it, schedule it or post it. The message names what is open, up to five items. A post scheduled before the gap existed is sent as scheduled.
What it does
When Voice has no figure for a claim, it leaves a fact to verify in the text. Reach checks the title and every version of the post for one.
While one is open, Approve, Post… and scheduling all refuse. The message names what is open. With several it lists the first five and counts the rest.
A post that was already scheduled before this check existed is sent at its time as scheduled.
Why
A made-up figure under your name is worse than a gap. The gap is marked, and the post waits until you have put in the real number or taken the claim out.
What it won't do
- It doesn't approve, schedule or post a draft that still has a fact to verify.
- It doesn't fill the gap with a guess. You replace it or remove it.
- It doesn't recall a post that was already scheduled before this check existed.
How to use it
Open the Reach guide in your dashboard, or start a trial to try it.
