Send an idea to Voice and AI Visibility notes how that question looked. Once the piece is published through Reach and a later report has run, the Impact panel shows what changed since, not what caused it.
What it does
When you send an AI Visibility idea to Voice, it notes which question the idea was aimed at and whether that question named you at that moment. When Voice writes a draft from the idea, the draft is linked to it. When the draft is handed to Reach, the Reach post is linked too. When the post is published, the date is recorded.
The next report that runs after the publish date asks the same question again. The Impact panel, titled "Did publishing change anything?", then lists each published piece with a label: You are in it now, Named earlier, No change yet, No longer named, or Not re-checked yet.
Once at least three pieces have been published and re-checked, a one-line summary appears above the list.
Why
Writing the piece is only half the job. You want to know whether the question you aimed at now names you.
What it won't do
- It doesn't say your post caused the change. The panel says answers shift for many reasons and shows what changed after you published.
- It doesn't show a summary until three pieces have been published and re-checked.
- It doesn't re-check a question against a report that started before the piece was published.
- It doesn't track an idea that wasn't tied to a tracked question.
- It doesn't hold up a draft, a handoff or a publish if the link fails. The piece goes out either way.
- It doesn't show the panel until at least one linked piece has been published.
