Direct competitors come from your company profile. Partners, suppliers and regulators sit on a separate Radar list, and Adamiro asks the model to read them for what they mean to you. An empty profile falls back to that list.
What it does
Radar reads two lists. Your direct competitors live on the Competitors tab of your company profile. Other organisations to watch is Radar's own list, for partners, suppliers, regulators, industry bodies and companies in neighbouring markets.
Adamiro tells the model to read news about a competitor as a competitor move, and news about another organisation for what it means for your position.
If your profile lists no competitors yet, Radar treats the names on its own list as competitors. It also copies them into the profile when you open the Company tab.
Why
A regulator's new rule is not a rival's price cut. Keeping the lists apart is meant to stop a briefing from calling your supplier a threat.
What it won't do
- It doesn't merge the two lists while your profile has competitors.
- It doesn't leave you without a competitor view when the profile is empty.
How to use it
Open the Radar guide in your dashboard, or start a trial to try it.
