Reach · You see what it keeps.

Reach picks posting times per weekday and shows what each rests on.

No tasksSolo and Team

Use recommended times fills a weekly pattern from LinkedIn averages, blended with your own measured posts once you have enough. Each row says whether it rests on the average, a blend or your own posts.

What it does

Use recommended times fills the weekly pattern of days and hours for a campaign. The best hour differs by weekday, so it is worked out per day, not once.

It starts from LinkedIn averages. Once enough of your own posts are measured, your results blend in. Each row says whether it rests on the LinkedIn average, a blend, or your own posts, and the Performance tab's When you post grid says the same in words.

You choose which audience region it plans for, and the times are shown in your own clock.

Why

A single best time would be wrong on most days. And a time you can't see the reason for is a time you can't judge.

What it won't do

  • It doesn't rank times by engagement rate. Timing is judged on views.
  • It doesn't let a day or time of day with only a couple of your posts move the plan. Your own results count only once there are three or more measured posts to go on.
  • It doesn't hide where a row came from. The basis is shown on every row.
