Signals · You don't pay for what you didn't get. New

A run that finds nothing new, or nothing relevant, is not charged.

Since 6 Oct 2026v2.22.0No tasks when nothing new is foundSolo and Team

If your sources published nothing since the last briefing, or nothing was relevant to your profile, no briefing is made and the run is not charged. The timeline says "Run not charged".

What it does

A Signals or Radar run can end in two quiet ways. Either none of your sources published anything since the last briefing, or what they published was not relevant to your company profile.

In both cases no briefing is written and the tasks the run took are returned. The run timeline shows "Run not charged" with the reason.

Why

A quiet week is a real result, and you shouldn't pay for it. You also shouldn't get a briefing padded out of nothing.

What it won't do

  • It doesn't write a briefing when there is nothing new to report.
  • It doesn't mark the unused articles as seen when none of them were relevant.
  • It doesn't charge for the run.

How to use it

Open the Signals guide in your dashboard, or start a trial to try it.

A briefing that cannot be read is not sent and tasks come back.

If the write-up of a Signals or Radar briefing cannot be read, no briefing email goes out and the run's tasks are returned to you. The articles are offered again on the next run.
