Where Voice has no figure for a claim, it writes a marked placeholder that says what is missing. The draft lists each open one, and the marker stays until you replace it.
What it does
When Voice has no figure for a claim, it writes a marker in the text, [VERIFY: what is missing], instead of filling the gap with a number that sounds right. Voice is told to do this in every language and format.
A draft with open markers shows a Facts to verify box that lists each one.
Why
A made-up number reads the same as a real one. If you can't tell them apart, you find out when a reader does.
The marker keeps the gap visible. You replace it with the real figure, or you cut the sentence.
What it won't do
- It doesn't hide an open marker. Each one is listed on the draft until you settle it.
- It doesn't let an open marker go out through approval. Reach will not approve, schedule or publish a draft while one is open. A post already scheduled is published without that check.
How to use it
Open the Voice guide in your dashboard, or start a trial to try it.
