A new session works from your Pitch File and the names of recent advisers, not the content of earlier sessions. Continue carries the topic forward on purpose.
What it does
When you open a new session, the board works from your Pitch File and the question you bring. It does not read the content of your earlier sessions. It does see the names of advisers used in your last few boards, so the Chairperson can vary who it picks.
Continue is the exception. It carries the session topic and the living summary into the next session of the same conversation. New session drops both.
Why
Five advisers who remember last month's answer tend to repeat it. A clean read means each pitch is judged on what you bring now.
What it won't do
- It won't bring an old session's positions into a new session.
