Mentor · You see what it keeps. New

A note Mentor keeps links back to the conversation it came from.

Since 25 Sep 2026v2.22.0No tasksSolo and Team

A note from a conversation carries a Where it was said link when its message is recorded. It opens the thread at that message. Without a recorded message, the note links to the thread. Notes also show their source.

What it does

The What it remembers list shows every note Mentor has kept, with where it came from: a document, a page, a thread, or something you taught it.

A note that came out of a conversation has a Where it was said link when the message it came from is recorded. It opens that thread and scrolls to the message. If the message isn't recorded, the note links to the thread instead, and only in the view grouped by name.

Why

You can check a note against what you actually said before you rely on it, and you can find the thread that produced it.

What it won't do

  • It doesn't hide where a note came from.
  • It doesn't keep a note you have forgotten. Forgetting removes it from what Mentor uses.

How to use it
